Directions from Glasgow and Central Scotland

From Glasgow, take the M8 westbound, follow the motorway all the way to Langbank and then stay on the main dual carriageway to Port Glasgow. Stay on the main road all the way through Port Glasgow to Greenock, then follow signs for Gourock. You will pass through Greenock's "West End", large sandstone Victorian houses with walled gardens, eventually the vista on the right (north) opens out as you pass the Battery Park. At the end of the park you cross the boundary into Gourock, with a view of the Clyde and the bay itself to the North. Keep following the main road, until you come to a van hire company, "Fisher Trucks", on the left, and "The Bluebird Cafe" on the right, at the corner of the road signed for the Gourock Dunoon Ferry.

At this point turn right (the Cafe is on the corner of the junction) and The Continental Garage is on your right, just beyond the cafe.

Directions from Ayrshire and the West Coast

If you are coming up the coast from Inverkip or Largs, follow the coast road to Gourock, through the town centre, past the railway station. Eventually you will see a tower block, "Eastern View", on the right. Just after this the road bends sharply to the left, you will see the Fisher Trucks garage on the right, turn left at the Bluebird Cafe and The Continental Garage is on your right.
